Greg Rutherford has withdrawn from next month's World Championships in London because of an ankle injury.

The reigning long jump champion told 5 live it is 鈥榗ompletely and utterly gutting鈥� not to be able to compete.

鈥淚 can鈥檛 actually take off and I can鈥檛 jump so for a long jumper you can imagine that鈥檚 less than ideal.鈥�
