John Radcliffe Hospital: 'Wise' to take decision
Following the fire at Grenfell Tower, a major hospital in Oxford has decided to move trauma patients out of a building with external cladding, following a safety review.
Professor Christopher Bulstrode, who used to work at the unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital has praised the decision telling Radio 4's World at One that patient safety must come first. "The last thing we want to have is a fire on a ward where patients are stuck in bed, that would be a catastrophe". He added "I think they have been very quick and very wise to take this action."
