A survey commissioned by the 麻豆社 suggests two thirds enjoy going to work most days

A survey commissioned by 麻豆社 Radio 5 Live suggests four in five British adults are proud of the work they do and two thirds say they enjoy going to work most days.

Polly Toynbee is a Guardian columnist and author of two books on work. She says: "Having a job is so important to people's identity, we know what unemployment does... if you don't do anything you feel you don't belong to society."

Lucy Cavendish is a journalist turned psychotherapist. She tells John Humphrys: "The younger people, they really want to do something they really enjoy...they work in a very different way than the older generations."
