Would an all-female Lord of the Flies work?
Plans to film an all-female version of Lord of the Flies have been criticised by people who claim that girls would never behave as savagely as the boys in William Golding's classic novel.
Dr Elizabeth Kilbey is a clinical psychologist who has worked on programmes including The Secret Life of 4 Year Olds and Tiny House Of Terrors.
She told Radio 4's PM that while it is "perfectly possible" for girls to be as aggressive as boys, she is "not satisfied that...they fight in the same way".
