Why cheerleading is taking off
It used to be about pom-poms, short skirts and jaunty chants, but these days it鈥檚 more about athletic prowess. Cheerleading is on its way into being included in the Olympics. But despite becoming more popular in the U.K., it鈥檚 not recognised by any governing body. Cheerleaders say it鈥檚 time Sport England stepped in and regulated it. Elizabeth Hotson has been to see how the cheerleading world champions the Unity Allstars from London got to the top.
