Black Eyed Girls
Katie Hims' poignant drama follows the lives of separated twins, whose lives diverge and converge, in class, geography and happiness, across the last sixty years.
Jeanie and Meg are twin black-eyed girls, who get separated at the age of five. One stays at home, in a working class family from Scarborough, where as the other is adopted by an upper middle class academic family. Thus their separate fortunes are set in motion, united only by the vaguest memory of being happy together. Their search for each other continues throughout their lives.
