Does racial disparity create a grievance culture?

The prime minister says the UK must take action on racial disparity

Ministers are to launch a Racial Disparity Audit which was ordered by Theresa May in August 2016.

The audit is to challenge society over differences in how public services treat people of different races.

Former deputy mayor of London Munira Mirza said she is worried that the government has framed disparities across ethnic groups as being "discrimination and racial injustice" as opposed to the other "complex reasons".

Our home affairs editor Mark Easton outlined the projects position as it stands.

Conservative MP and communities minister Sajid Javid said when the report goes live many people will welcome this data in terms of "scale, scope and transparency".
