'Injury crisis damaging rugby union's reputation'
Rugby union is facing an "injury crisis" that is harming the sport's reputation, according to 麻豆社 Scotland's chief sports writer Tom English.
Since the Premiership season began in September clubs have been struggling with depleted squads, with Wasps starting October with 15 players out injured.
"Rugby has a massive, massive problem here and the really scary thing is that there is no solution without fundamentally changing the sport, and nobody wants to do that," English said.
"It is really bad for the game and it is bad for young kids and parents who look at it and think 'wow, this is becoming too hot. I do not want to get my kid involved in this',鈥 he added.
