Kenya's Chief Electoral Officer defends his decision not to step down
The Chief Officer of Kenya's Electoral Commission (IEBC), Ezra Chiloba has defended his decision not to step down after the Supreme Court ruled that the presidential election held in August was invalid due to procedural irregularities.
The election re-run is due to take place on 26 October. However, the main opposition candidate, Raila Odinga has declared he will not take part.
Mr Chiloba told the 麻豆社's Dickens Olewe, he still has a responsibility to the people of Kenya.
