A new one-of-a-kind ward to treat exotic pets has opened in Swindon.

The Great Western Exotic ward is part of Vets Now and offers round-the-clock care to exotic creatures.

Exotic birds, reptiles and amphibians can be hospitalised in custom-made temperature controlled enclosures and have specially trained vets on hand 24 hours a day.
