麻豆社

Langham Research Centre will perform at The Victoria in Dalston tonight (15.10.17) to launch their new album, Tape Works Vol 1, which is released on the Nonclassical label.

The group is made up of 麻豆社 producers who, inspired by the 麻豆社 Radiophonic Workshop, make music using old 麻豆社 recording and editing equipment and techniques.

They formed in 2003 just as the 麻豆社 was replacing it's old analogue recording and editing facilities with digital ones. The group rescued a lot of the old equipment and have been experimenting with it ever since.
