New Little Miss Character Sparks Reaction
Scientist Laura Tobin, an engineer and a physicist, explains why Little Miss Inventor is a crucial role model for girls
The new character is joining the Mr Men and Little Miss series - a female engineer. Little Miss Inventor has been created by author and illustrator Adam Hargreaves, as a "positive role model" for girls.
She will be the 36th Little Miss character and there's been positive reaction on social media from women involved with technology, science and engineering.
