Killing all jihadists is 'juvenile response'
The former director of public prosecutions Lord Macdonald has said the defence secretary's suggestion that dead terrorists "can't cause any harm to Britain" is a "juvenile response".
The Liberal Democrat peer told The World at One that to assassinate all known British IS recruits "without any regard to threat... is extremely problematic legally".
He added that Gavin Williamson's policy suggestion "belongs in a Netflix series" and it was "not a serious grown-up policy response".
