Cedric Bakambu will become the most expensive African footballer in history when he joins Beijing Guoan from Villarreal.

That’s because Chinese clubs must now pay 100 per cent tax on the signing of foreign players.

Football agent Hootan Ahmadi negotiated Nigeria striker Brown Ideye’s move to China last year.

He explains why Bakambu is so expensive and tells Sport Today there will be four more big transfers to China in January.
