David Pleat: Clever Spurs players enjoyed chess!
He remembers managing a team including the "magnificent" Glenn Hoddle in 1986/87. He was struck by the players' intelligence - they'd spend Friday nights enjoying a game of chess. David says he was lucky: "We just organised them into a great team that gave pleasure to a lot of people."
