Ed Balls has said most SMEs want to stay in the customs union and the single market after Brexit. The former shadow chancellor said the results come from a survey he carried out for Harvard Kennedy politics school.

But chairman of JML, John Mills, argued that concerns have been "greatly exaggerated."
