Jeremy Hunt has ruled out the UK staying in any form of a customs union with the EU post-Brexit.

The health secretary said the government is looking for a "different way" to achieve frictionless trade with the block.

He said that as members of the customs union "we wouldn't have full sovereign control of our destiny as a nation".
