West Ham have lost their identity - Redknapp
Former West Ham manager Harry Redknapp discusses the situation at the club, and says: 鈥淚n the long term, people have got carried away with the expectations a little bit.鈥
Redknapp, who also played for the Hammers, adds: 鈥淵ou look at the team now, and I鈥檒l be honest with you, I struggle to even name half the players. I really do. There鈥檚 no real鈥 The team鈥檚 changed so much, and every year we seem to get different players come and go.鈥
Speaking to Jacqui Oatley on 5 live Sport, Redknapp also referenced the fan unrest at London Stadium, saying: 鈥淭ime moves on. It was time for a change. They鈥檝e got a new stadium, and West Ham are a big club, whatever people may say.
鈥淭hey鈥檝e been a great club for many, many years, and they are drawing 60,000 people every week.鈥
