Syria: 'There should be a vote' says Ken Clarke
The former Conservative Home Secretary Ken Clarke, says Parliament should be recalled so the government can get Parliamentary approval if they want "to launch a military attack" on Syria.
The longest serving MP tells Radio 4's World at One the idea that because MP's are on recess making it
inconvenient, "is quite the worst argument". He suggests they could meet at the weekend, even offering to miss his beloved football match, "because these are very important matters".
