Former Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy says things had 鈥済one stale鈥� at Portman Road and the fans 鈥渨anted a change鈥�.
McCarthy was due to leave the Championship club at the end of the season 鈥� but departed four games early following a 1-0 win over Barnsley on Tuesday.
