Chvrches singer Lauren Mayberry has spoken out on her online response to a negative review that the band received for their third album.

Speaking to 麻豆社 Radio 5 live鈥檚 Nihal Arthanayake, the singer and songwriter said the review by the critic was 鈥榗ondescending鈥 and belittled the band's 鈥榮ocial and political鈥 views. Chvrches band members Iain Cook and Martin Doherty added people had a 鈥榬ight to reply鈥 to 鈥榩ersonal鈥 criticism.
