Teacher who won $1m has set up an organisation to bring more artists into schools
When Andria Zafirakou won a $1m global teacher prize she could have put her feet up, gone on a shopping spree or a trip around the world. Instead, the winner has chosen to set up a campaigning charity to get more artists into British schools. Artists in Residence has already garnered the support of Simon Schama, Melvyn Bragg and Mark Wallinger.
