Former deputy national security adviser, Ben Rhodes, on Obama's time in office

How did Barack Obama's stewardship of the White House, and of his party, influence the rise of Donald Trump? Former adviser, Ben Rhodes, has been examining this question in his book, 'America As It Is: Inside Obama's White House'.

He accepts more should have been done to strengthen the Democratic Party, and described how "horrifying" it was for him to realise that Trump had risen to power on the same message of change that Obama embraced in 2008.
