Miracle cures: is the NHS a modern-day religion?
A lot of the everyday language we use when we refer to the NHS is religious in tone: we have 'faith' in the NHS; the staff are 'angels'; and there is talk of 'miracle' cures. Trevor Barnes explores whether people think the NHS is in fact a modern-day religion.
