Is the traditional camera dying out?
The quality of the pictures you can take on your mobile phone is what sells phones these days. They are killing demand for cameras. Why lug a camera around when you鈥檝e got one in your phone? Figures from Japan show how the market is shrinking: shipments of compact digital cameras from companies like Olympus, Canon and Nikkon were down 39% year on year.
