Medicinal cannabis 'should not be last resort'
Government rules to licence cannabis shouldn't be restrictive says mother of sick child.
The government has said it will make it easier for doctors to prescribe medicines derived from cannabis. Danielle Davis, whose seven-year-old daughter Sophia Gibson, was granted a licence to use medicinal cannabis, hopes that the new rules aren't too restrictive.
And, Dr Steve Alexander, member of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs and Adrian James, registrar for the Royal College of Psychiatrists, explain how it will be regulated.
