Former Glamorgan and Gloucestershire bowler Alan Wilkins took over 370 wickets in the county championship before retiring in 1983 due to a severe shoulder injury.

Following retirement he moved in to broadcasting, first in South Africa and later India where he is now one of the best known faces on Indian television.
