Frank Field: Labour must deal with "political thuggery"
The veteran Labour MP, Frank Field, has resigned the party whip saying that the leadership has "become a force for anti-Semitism in British politics."
Mr Field, who has represented Birkenhead for almost 40 years, says he'll now serve as an Independent Member of Parliament.
Speaking on Radio 4's PM programme Mr Field also said the Labour Party had failed to tackle what he described as "political thuggery" in his constituency.
