Pieter Hanson's mum sent out a tweet explaining that her son was scared to go on solo dates because of the climate caused by the #MeToo movement. Pieter later said this was not true, but it was too late. She even listed her son's many achievements that may be desirable for a partner with the hashtag #HimToo. The post went viral and many took to social media to tweet parodies of Peter's mum. Peter explains how her well intentioned tweet made him a viral star.
