Rory Stewart: Hard Brexit 'something akin to a civil war'
Justice Minister Rory Stewart has warned that the "extreme" options of a hard Brexit or a second referendum would lead to "something akin to a civil war".
He told 麻豆社 Radio 4's The World at One that the draft withdrawal agreement was a "really good deal" because it allowed access to the single market on industrial goods as well as giving the UK control over immigration.
"We need a pragmatic deal which addresses the concerns of people who voted for Brexit while protecting our economy and that's what we have got," he said.
