Former neo-Nazi: 'I hated everything, myself, the whole world'

When Shannon Martinez was 15 she joined a neo-Nazi group, painting swastikas on public property and engaging in violence.

Today she is co-founder of The Free Radicals Project, an organisation dedicated to helping people leave white supremacy and violence-based ideologies behind.

Martinez explains why problems in her own life led her to become a neo-Nazi.
