Born genetically male but identifying as female
As an increasing number of school pupils in South Africa come out in the open about their gender identities differing from the sex they were born with, schools in the country have started adapting their learning environment. The mother of a transgender student in Cape Town tells us how she discovered that her child who was born a boy genetically, came to identify as female.
