Clement Attlee's granddaughter meets the German child refugee he saved
Paul Willer, a child refugee from Germany who is now 90 and living in Gloucestershire, was 10 when he stayed with the Labour politician Clement Attlee and his family for four months, until the beginning of the war.
He arranged to meet the former Prime Minister's granddaughter, Jo Roundall Green, for the first time on the 80th anniversary of the Kindertransport scheme, which saved thousands of mainly Jewish children from Nazi Germany.
Before their meeting they both spoke to Radio 4's World at One presenter Sarah Montague.
