Could leasing land in Africa on which to build cities help curb migration?
The African Union has rejected a controversial proposal by a German minister that foreign entities like the EU or World Bank acquire land in Africa on which to build cities to curb migration. But does the idea have any merit? The 麻豆社's Dickens Olewe has been hearing more on the idea from a proponent, Germany's Minister for Africa, Gunter Nooke.
