Ten Conservative association chairs who spoke to the World at One on Wednesday were split down the middle - five backing the PM, and the others wanting a change in leadership.
With a flavour of their views from around England, and speaking from a personal capacity, are Andrea Thorpe from Maidstone and The Weald, Tony Roberts from Newark, Melanie Whitehand from Woking, Linda Taylor for St Ives and the Isles of Scilly, and Patrick Duffy in South West Wiltshire.
