Man who sued an IVF clinic for impregnating his ex without his consent has lost his case

A father who sued an IVF clinic after his ex was impregnated with a frozen egg fertilised by his sperm, months after they had separated, lost his damages action. He claimed compensation for the cost of the upkeep of the child. He told Today: "I am duty bound morally to do everything I can for the child...but I just wish it had never happened."
