A mother whose son was murdered in the Sandy Hook mass shooting has told 麻豆社 Radio 5 Live that she has forgiven her child鈥檚 killer.

Adam Lanza killed 20 elementary school children, six adults and his mother on 14 December 2012 before turning the gun on himself.

Scarlett Lewis鈥檚 six-year-old son Jesse was one of the children who was killed.

Speaking to Emma Barnett, she said 鈥渋t鈥檚 easier for me to be angry for him than it is to be angry at him鈥�.

Scarlett is honouring her son through the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement, which educates and encourage individuals to choose loving thoughts over angry thoughts.
