Theresa May will visit Northern Ireland to try and get support for her deal
Theresa May will try to reassure people in Northern Ireland that she can secure a Brexit deal that avoids a hard border with Ireland during a visit today. Former Northern Ireland first minister Lord Trimble says a physical border in Ireland could happen by "accident". DUP Leader Arlene Foster tells Today that the current 'backstop' insurance policy to avoid such a border, is "toxic" and "would cause the break up of the United Kingdom".
