Was the Pope wrong about hairdressers?

Pope Francis warned hairdressers, hairstylists and beauticians against gossiping at work. He also advised them to follow the example of one of the saints. Hairdresser Kay says that they are discreet about what their customers tell them, they don't gossip and are just good listeners.
