A woman from the United Arab Emirates who suffered a severe brain injury after a traffic accident has woken up after 27 years.

Munira Abdulla was travelling with her four-year-old son, Omar Webair, when the car they were in collided with a bus.

Omar was left unharmed as his mother held him in her arms moments before the accident.

He told 麻豆社 OS about the moment she woke up.
