Protests in Liberia against George Weah's presidency

It's the largest since the Liberian civil war

There has been protests in Liberia against the government of President George Weah, accused of flouting the constitution and focusing on wealth acquisition over the needs of the people.

In Sudan, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has met with military leaders in an attempt to mediate in the crisis and restart talks between the Transitional Military Council and the protesters.

And the World Health Organisation has said that we are entering a world where illnesses like Ebola and yellow fever will be the norm, rather than the exception.
