Why this scientist will no longer appear on all-male panels
The head of the National Institutes of Health in the US has announced that he will no longer take part in all-male panels.
Dr Francis Collins says he wants to send a clear message about the under-representation of women and other groups in science.
He's challenged other scientific leaders to do the same.
