Open water swimmer Beth French tells Shari Vahl of the time when a shark came less than two meters away from her.

Beth is a single mum and attempted a physical challenge that no-one had ever done before: swimming the seven seas considered to be the most challenging open water swims.

Her efforts have been turned into a film called ‘Against the Tides’.
