Cornishman Steve Jarvis has just returned from the World Transplant Games as the competition's most successful athlete.
Steve returned from Newcastle with seven medals and several world records to his name.
As a teenager, doctors had been ready to amputate his leg following a serious infection and complications led to him needing a kidney transplant a decade later.
Andy Birkett caught up with Steve on a training night at Par track.
