Why a Ukrainian film about Kiev鈥檚 Maidan Square protests five years ago has inspired protesters now in Hong Kong.

Last week, protesters in Hong Kong organised screenings of a Netflix documentary about Ukraine's Maidan Square protests called 鈥榃inter on Fire鈥�. Jeff Li and Fan Wang of 麻豆社 Chinese met some protesters moved to see their own situation mirrored in past events in Ukraine. And for Diana Kuryshko of 麻豆社 Ukrainian, events in Hong Kong brought back memories of 2014.
