Does ‘the science’ predict six billion deaths by the end of this century due to climate change? Tim Harford takes a look at the origins of that number and talks to Andy Haines, Professor of Environmental Change and Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, whose estimates on the number of deaths are lower.
