Charlie and Daisy May Cooper, who wrote and star in 麻豆社 Three鈥檚 This Country, have told 麻豆社 Radio 5 Live that a lot of the characters are inspired by people they knew growing up.

Speaking to Nihal Arthanayake, Daisy May said: 鈥淲e have to write about people that we know, because when we put them in a situation, we want to know how the real person would act.鈥�

The siblings also explained how they felt about the show鈥檚 success and the fan groups that have emerged on social media .
