Originally scheduled for transmission sometime in 1965, the 麻豆社鈥檚 ban on the film was finally lifted 20 years later, and then only shown with a special introduction by Ludovic Kennedy, who was fronting an entire season of screenings and discussions about the effects of nuclear war entitled, After the Bomb.
