Zanzibar’s female DJ defies odds to turn passion into career

Her stage name is ‘Hijab DJ’, she dons her hijab proudly even during her Deejaying events and performances. Her story is that of defying odds, in a country where women roles are assumed to be in other conventional sectors such as farming, and domestic work. Other than Deejaying, Aisha is also a radio presenter.
