Millions of key workers in England can now book coronavirus test

The Health Secretary says govt will meet its target of 100,000 tests a day.

It is one month today since we woke up to the measures we are still living under - restrictions on our way of life brought in to combat the spread of a virus that could have overwhelmed the NHS. The lockdown won't be formally reviewed by the government for another two weeks but yesterday two significant new measures were announced - key workers in England and their households can be tested for coronavirus if they have any symptoms, and contact tracing is to be rolled out on a large scale with 18,000 people to be recruited and trained to do the job.
